When the Bridge reopened in 2014 after an extensive refurbishment which saw the creation of the seven modern boutique style rooms in the 200 year old riverside property it signalled the beginning of the successful rise of the business which continues to this day.
Blissful Bedrooms Beautiful Bathrooms and Brilliant Breakfasts is the mission statement that has underpinned the rise in popularity of this authentic and homely family business and the decision to stock the fantastic Mattison Monarch 1400 pocket sprung beds in all Bridge Hotel rooms, Riverside Cottage and The Brewery House (on the other side of the bridge that gives us our name) has been central to offering the possibly the comfiest nights sleep that you can find anywhere in the UK.
Several five star establishments such as the Gleneagles hotel use the Monarch as their bed of choice and the guests who’ve commented warmly about ours on the major review sites like Booking.com and Tripadvisor have certainly had a massive effect on bookings and repeat trade.
The travertine stone bathrooms in the hotel are another feature our guests love and at the end of a nights rest in a fantastic bed with a hot steamy rainfall shower followed by our delicious locally sourced breakfast with a huge fresh fruit and yoghurt selection and a meal perfectly cooked to order while you sit overlooking the river in the delightful conservatory restaurant……… are some very happy customers who’ve been central to our success story!
Fronted for the family by Matt Arnold (formerly of GMTV) and ably supported by a hand picked team that really know the meaning of customer service the staff at the Bridge again play a massive role in allowing you the guest to relax and feel that you are in a home from home with everything you need on hand.
We offer to start our breakfasts as early as the earliest businessman needs to be up and at it but equally if you’re relaxing we will happily take your order right the way up to 0930.
Adapting to the needs of our guests is something we do well and we really do pride ourselves on delivering that kind of old fashioned customer service that is becoming harder and harder to find.

What has been a pleasant surprise is the sheer numbers of guests who have come to stay after seeing the way we came across on TV in our earliest of days when we launched in 2014. The repeats of the win are seemingly endless and the Four in a Bed prominence is truly the gift that keeps on giving and we are very proud of our plastic “brass” plaque in the dining room denoting our triumph!.
Rest assured we have not been complacent and we’ve strived to improve the business at every stage and we keep that attitude firmly at the fore of everything we do here at the Bridge.
